Yes. Solo travellers are welcome to join our group safaris and meet fellow travellers along the way.
Absolutely. We welcome friends, couples, families, private groups and corporate groups.
For families, we encourage booking a private Land Cruiser, ideally for 6 guests, for a more comfortable and private experience.
What's included
Your safari package includes:
Personal expenses, drinks other than the provided drinking water, optional activities, and anything specifically listed as excluded from your trip are not included.
Meeting point & departure
All regular Safari Fridays departures meet at Kencom — opposite International House, Nairobi CBD.
Regular group departures use the Kencom meeting point. However, if your group books the entire Land Cruiser, we can arrange pickup from your preferred location within Nairobi.
Your exact departure time is stated on your trip details and booking confirmation.
Safari Fridays operates on a strict departure time. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early. The vehicle leaves on time so the group can enjoy the full safari experience.
Safari experience
Absolutely. Every guest gets a window seat. We believe everyone should have a clear view of the wildlife and enjoy the safari experience.
Safari Fridays uses Land Cruisers designed for comfortable game viewing and safari travel.
Wild animals move freely in their natural habitat, so sightings can never be guaranteed. Our experienced guide will use their knowledge of the area to maximise your chances of seeing wildlife.
Absolutely. Bring your camera or phone and a power bank. Please follow your guide's instructions when viewing wildlife.
Yes. Our safaris are designed to make the experience easy, social and enjoyable for both first-time and experienced safari travellers.

Yes. Please let us know your dietary requirements when booking or as early as possible before departure.
What to pack
For a 2-night safari, keep it simple:

Safety & travel
Your safety is our priority. Every Safari Fridays trip is led by a professional driver-guide familiar with the safari environment and wildlife. You will receive guidance throughout the trip, and we ask all guests to follow the guide's instructions, especially during game drives and cultural visits.
Stay inside the vehicle unless your guide tells you it is safe to exit. Keep a safe distance from wildlife, remain calm and follow your guide's instructions at all times.
Our team and driver-guide are prepared to respond to situations that may arise during the journey. If an emergency occurs, the guide will coordinate the appropriate assistance and support.
Travel insurance is recommended, particularly for medical emergencies, trip interruption, cancellation and personal belongings.
Age requirements may vary depending on the specific safari. Check the individual trip details before booking.
Safari trips generally continue in changing weather conditions. If conditions create a safety concern, Safari Fridays will communicate any necessary changes.
Changes & cancellations
Changes depend on availability and the terms of your specific booking. Contact Safari Fridays as soon as possible if you need to make a change.
Cancellations must be made at least 10 days before departure. Your booking can be transferred to the next available Safari Fridays slot, valid for 1 month from the date of cancellation.
We will reschedule the trip to the next available Friday and notify you early enough with the new departure details.
